E-Governance Project 2011

E-governance (Easy Governance) a project to educate people on working of government offices in Mumbai, to make them aware of various offices procedure of Passport, Voters ID, PAN Card, Ration Card, Gazette  etc. Our objective to start this project is to empower people to do their government work by own without the help of middlemen (Agent) without bribing and spending too much money.
We made book called "E-Governance" containing all information about various departments and departmental work of above mentioned offices like how to apply for these services, how to make changes, what charges are applicable, how much time required for these work and where these services are available in the city including all these information we attached forms specimen with this book for practice and correct filling of forms without any hesitation.
Apart from making this book we conducted various workshops and training to educate youth of our community to make them aware of these procedures and develop in them an active citizenship. Just making books doesn't create any changes in the society as it has been limited only in libraries and book stores so we decided to take a step ahead and connect with the youth and people through workshops and training.
